Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day. The nutrients individuals receive from breakfast foods help them get started with the day feeling upbeat and energized. Often, people grab granola bars or cereal right before they head out the door. However, on days people are not in a hurry, there are various breakfast recipes that range from something sweet to something salty that can satisfy the needs of the person’s palate. There are many recipes that use cannabis butter with other ingredients that provides a little bit of a sweeter touch to the person’s taste buds.
For the person who wants some protein in the morning, a puffy egg omelet can be a good choice. To start, preheat the oven to three hundred and twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit. While the oven is heating, the preparer should gather four eggs, a quarter cup of water, a quarter of a teaspoon of salt, an eighth of a teaspoon of pepper, and one tablespoon of cannabis butter. Use a vigorous motion to beat the water, salt, and egg whites to make a stiff batter. Separate the egg yolks and the pepper and beat these ingredients until they are thick and display a fine yellow color. The cannabis butter should be heated on the skillet just enough to lightly sizzle. After the entire surface of the skillet is covered, pour the egg mix onto the skillet while turning the oven on low to cook the omelet slowly. Approximately five minutes after the egg mixture is added to the skillet, the mix should start to appear puffy and slightly begin to brown. When this occurs, bake the puffy omelet in the oven without a cover on for approximately twelve to fifteen minutes depending on how dark the preparer likes their eggs. When the preparer is satisfied with the darkness of their puffy omelet, gently use a spatula to flip the omelet over and fold the omelet being careful not to break it apart. In addition, preparers may use a tomato sauce to put on the omelet if they prefer coating their omelet with some type of sauce. Using these ingredients, the puffy omelet provides two servings with two hundred and thirty calories per serving.
